About the Board
The Open Conjecture Board is a public registry of open mathematical conjectures. It makes no claim to certify truth, priority, or importance. Scores are compact editorial assessments intended to help people choose where to spend attention; they are not votes or prizes.
Etiquette
- Contact the conjecture’s authors before making a public resolution claim when reasonably possible.
- Disclose material AI assistance in the evidence you publish.
- Do not make priority claims without public, timestamped evidence.
- Evidence must be independently checkable. A result is reported before it is confirmed.
The Board sends email only for claim verification and resolution administration. It never performs outreach.
Nominate a conjecture by email.
Status is community- and machine-tracked and may lag. Verify independently before investing effort.
